By: Bre Crockett, Contributing Writer Excitement fills our school as students and teachers prepare for their upcoming Europe trip. With passports ready and a sense of adventure in their hearts, they’re eager to explore the rich tapestry of European culture and history.
“I love traveling and that is something that I would love to do more of in the future. Going outside of the country is really exciting, and I can’t wait to see all new people and experiences and hopefully eat different foods,” says Samantha Scheeler, a junior in high school, capturing the sentiment shared by the 17 members going on the trip. The journey begins in the Emerald Isle of Ireland, where Dublin's lively streets and the serene countryside await. Whether visiting ancient castles or savoring traditional Irish cuisine, Ireland's charm is sure to captivate them all. Next, London, where the iconic Big Ben stands tall amidst the bustling cityscape. From exploring historic landmarks to immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the city, London promises to be an unforgettable stop in their adventure. Guided by a dedicated tour director and accompanied by our group leaders and chaperones, Mrs. (Willingham) King and Mrs. Jennifer Ludwig the students are set to embark on a journey of discovery. Though their roster may have seen a recent change, with some students unable to join them, the group remains united in spirit. Thanks to meticulous planning and fundraising efforts, each student has the opportunity to experience this adventure of a lifetime. As we look forward to future trips and the promise of new destinations, the spirit of global citizenship thrives within our school community. Stay tuned for the school’s next trip to Japan!
