By: Rylee Palmer, contributing writer The FFA week filled the third week of February with many fun and exciting activities. Since school was out on Monday for Presidents Day, FFA students started Tuesday by hosting a breakfast before school. There was pancakes, bacon and breakfast casserole for the Centralia High School students and faculty. On Wednesday, the FFA members headed to Mexico, MO for an etiquette dinner. On Thursday select members headed to the capitol for the day and lastly, on Friday, the famous petting zoo was hosted at CHS. Friday was also bring your farm equipment to school day.

On February 14, the FBLA and FFA chapter officers went to the state capitol in Jefferson City. During this trip, students talked to District 44 Representative, Cheri Toalson Reisch and Missouri Senator, Caleb Rowden, about Senate Bill 819.

As winter arrives and frost sets in on the windows, students at Centralia High School eagerly await the annual Winterwarming festivities. Guided by the student council, the theme, “Game On” promises a week filled with spirited dress-up days, friendly competitions and school-wide joy.
