Erisman signs to Columbia College pursuing track and field

Grant Erisman, senior at Centralia High School (CHS), signed at Columbia College to further his track career. ​

Many of Erisman’s family and friends were there to witness this moment. Columbia College was an easy choice for Erisman as it was close from home.

Erisman is the son of Kevin and Amanda Erisman and has a younger sister and an older brother. Erisman has been participating in track since 7th grade. Erisman’s track activities include: long jump, triple jump, javelin and the 400. He says he enjoys track above other sports because he really likes the jumping events. Erisman also played basketball all four years of high school.

His favorite memory from track was in 2021 getting third at state and placing third in long jump.  

Erisman says he is most excited about competing with larger groups in college. He will be participating in the long jump and triple jump for Columbia College. He plans on studying business and marketing.
