Senior Spotlight- Mason Metcalf

Mason Metcalf, is a CHS senior who plans to be an Architectural Engineer.

Metcalf also enjoys being in the CHS band.  Metcalf has been in band for almost eight years, playing the Trumpet.  His favorite thing about band is playing music and his least favorite thing is marching season.  Metcalf says he likes band competitions because he can meet new people, but does not like how it takes up most of the day. 

Metcalf is also in track and Boy Scouts troop 90.  Metcalf enjoys running, playing video games and hanging out with his friends.  He also works during the summer with his dad designing electrical panels and wiring electrical boxes.  

Metcalf’s favorite subject in school is math. Metcalf said the thing he is going to miss most about high school is being with all of his friends. His biggest inspiration is his grandpa, because he gives good advice for the future.
