Kyle Mayfeild SeniOr Spotlight

Kyle Mayfield is a senior at Centralia High School. Mayfield is involved in a variety of different clubs, including Earth Club and FBLA. ​

Mayfield enjoys the feeling of community he gets from school and states, “The community at CHS is really fun to be a part of and I enjoy all of the school activities and assemblies.”
Out of all his classes, Digital Media is his favorite. What Mayfield enjoys most about Digital Media is the ability to be openly creative. He enjoys creating films and drawings, and his classes have helped him make advancements in his skills.
Mayfield also likes the community he lives in. “It’s a lot of nostalgia and old memories I had growing up here that makes me enjoy it a lot today. I always enjoyed the small and quiet nature of Centralia as opposed to a big city that’s loud and chaotic. It’s nice to live somewhere where nothing happens and everyone lives more peacefully than normal,” said Mayfield.
Outside of school, Mayfield likes to draw, write and hang out with friends. He enjoys working on and developing comics when he hangs out with his friends. Mayfield and his friends also record films for Broadcast Media, which is another of his favorite classes at CHS. 
After high school, Mayfield plans to take a year off to save money, then apply to a few colleges for digital design.
