Pierce has worked at Schnarre Farms for three months.
Schnarre farms is owned and operated by the Schnarre family. The 5,200 acre farm is located in Boone County just outside of Centralia, and primarily operates in row crops.

This job will help Pierce with his future by giving him work experience in a profession he has interest in. It also earns him an income to help pay for furthering his education. Pierce said this job sounded like a fun opportunity when asked why he chose to work there. Pierce comments what he likes most about the job, “Everyday is something new, it doesn’t get boring.”
Pierce plans on attending State Technical College to pursue a degree in agriculture.
