Follow Pig and porkchop's journey at CES!

CHS STEM class has two gerbils they are sharing with the elementary school to enhance learning opportunities.  This page will be updated frequently with Pig and Porkchop's journey at Chance Elementary. Check back often!

Mrs. Harper's 2nd grade students enjoyed having the gerbils for a day! Students were able to watch the gerbils in the ball and in the cage, hold them and observe their behaviors. Students then took the time to writer about their observations and interactions with them in their journals. ​

Mrs. Morgan's 2nd grade students hosted the gerbils after Mrs. Harper's class. 

Students in Mrs. Griffin's 2nd grade class enjoyed having the gerbils and loved the experience. 

After spending some time in 2nd grade, the gerbils ventured on to 1st grade with Miss Arens' class.
