October Student of the Month: Noah Davis

Centralia High School (CHS) senior Noah Davis has had an exciting couple of months. ​

Not only is he getting much deserved credit for his outstanding score of 36 on the ACT, but he is also the October Student of the Month. 

Davis was selected as student of the month by Principal, Mr. Nathan Gordon. “Noah was selected for his outstanding work academically in and out of the classroom. He is a leader in our building, and a fantastic person,” said Gordon.

While still reeling from the excitement of his ACT score, Davis did not see this honor coming. As a diligent student, Davis is usually focused on his academics and various activities, not the awards or accolades. When he was awarded with Student of the Month, he was pretty surprised. "Wait a minute, am I the only person to get Student of the Month twice?" asked Davis.   

Davis is President of the school's chapter of National Honor Society, Vice President of Beta Chi Pi, Secretary of SKRUBS, and is the first chair of the first violins in Orchestra. Davis plans to attend Mizzou or WashU for molecular or plant biology and to research genome editing in plants.
