December Student of the Month: Cheyenne Boggs

Cheyenne Boggs is the newest Centralia High School (CHS) Student of the Month. ​

 Boggs is a sophomore and is currently a student in health teacher, Mrs. Brinkmann’s PASS class.  Last year Brinkmann got to know Boggs as she was in two of her classes. “Cheyenne always comes to class ready to work and with a smile on her face,” said Brinkmann.

Boggs was surprised to earn this award. “At first I was anxious about why I was being pulled out of class, by Mr. Gordon and Mrs. Watermann. However when I got the award, I was more surprised about why and how I was chosen,” said Boggs.

Of all the classes on Boggs schedule, art is her favorite class.  What Boggs loves most about school is, “Being able to make friends, and also learning about the stuff I love like art and science.” 

Brinkman is excited to have the opportunity to have Boggs in class again. “I love how she always participates in class and asks questions.  She is just a true pleasure to have in class,” said Brinkmann.

After high school Boggs plans to go to a college for a two-year art program. After that she hopes to go to the Art Institute of Chicago and major in either animation or graphic design. “After school I plan to work for a major animation company like Disney or Dreamworks,” said Boggs.
